Wet and Dry Risers
Essential for high-rise and deep-basement buildings. We install and rigorously test these vital mains systems to ensure the Fire service has access to high-pressure water when every second counts.
Dry Risers
In multi-storey buildings over 18 metres, a functioning dry riser is the Fire Brigade’s primary lifeline, allowing them to deliver vast volumes of water directly to upper floors without dragging hoses up stairwells. Because these systems sit empty, they are highly vulnerable to unseen pressure leaks, perished washers, and vandalism.
We offer full-service dry riser solutions, from compliant installations to rigorous ongoing maintenance. Our specialist engineers conduct the legally required 6-monthly visual checks and comprehensive annual 12-bar wet pressure tests using our own dedicated fire appliances. We repair failing valves, replace missing signage, and issue the immediate compliance certification you need to prove your duty of care as a responsible person.

Wet Risers
For high-rise developments and towers exceeding 50 metres, regular fire service appliances cannot pump water high enough to fight a blaze, making a dedicated wet riser system a strict legal necessity. Unlike dry risers, these systems are permanently charged with water and rely on complex, heavy-duty pumps and storage tanks to maintain constant firefighting pressure across all levels of the building. Our highly experienced technicians manage the complete lifecycle of wet riser systems.
We provide precision installation, routine hydraulic pressure testing, and vital maintenance of the integrated pumps, tanks, and landing valves.
